Review of Legends of the Fall
This is the exact movie I’ve been dreaming to see. Together with the
grand holy background music, the beautiful or rather wild scenes of the
Rock Mountains lead my mind far away to the dreaming land. How I wish I
could be Tristan, riding a stubborn horse on the ranch freely and
adventuring into the woods to fight a bear with my bare hands. From
Tristan, I see the authentic human being to love with passion, to live
The three brothers represent different qualities and characteristics. The elder brother Alfred is responsible and honest; the second boy Tristan, their father’s favorite, embraces the rare quality of wildness; the youngest one Samuel is a gentleman with a well-educated background. Among the three different kinds of men, Alfred may be a good and careful husband, Tristan a passionate true lover and Samuel a bright fiancé. That’s how Susannah values the three of them. To love a man like Tristan is really difficult for a woman living in reality.
www.40081122.com，Living in such a family, the father must be very proud to have three boys growing up into real men. I still remember how he was delighted to see the three big boys sitting in the same room when Susannah first came as a cultivated woman. I wonder if he still feels so after the boys devoting themselves to the war and Samuel never returning alive. Will he figure out that it’s because of this cultivated woman in their house that the three boys could sitting together warmly and also it’s because of this cultivated lady with whom all his boys fall in love that their brotherhood has been tested? I don’t mean that the woman is dangerous. At least in this all male family, the only charming and lively lady being the focus in the house would definitely pose a threat to their strong connected once pure brotherhood.
Anyhow, this movie is on top of my favorites. I love the music, I love the photography, I love the story and I love the Tristan.
